West Midlands Police are seeking information on a home burglary of a woman that was murdered in Wolverhampton last month.
A man in his 30s has been charged with the murder of Kamaljeet Mahey, who was killed at her home on Park Meadow Avenue, Bilston, on 15 December. On 23 December 2023, around 1am, the same house was targeted by burglars who took jewellery, clothing and a television belonging to Kamaljeet. We are conducting CCTV and forensic investigations, and we need the public’s assistance.
Det Insp Jim Mahon, the head of the investigation, said: “”Kamaljeet’s family, who are grieving her sad death are now having to deal with the loss of sentimental items that belonged to her.
“We ask that anyone with information about this crime and the whereabouts of the stolen property, to get in touch.”
