Boxer Amir Khan had his watch stolen off him at gun point while out in London with his wife Faryal Makhdoom on Monday night.
The former light-welterweight world champion said he was out in Leyton, east London, when two men confronted him with the weapon demanding his watch.
Khan added that neither he nor his wife were harmed in the incident.
The thugs snatched his £72,000 Franck Muller Vanguard Chronograph before speeding off in a car.
Khan said revealed the ordeal on Twitter – and assured fans he and his Faryal were both safe.
Khan had been pictured with a fan while shopping in Oxford Street wearing his flashy timepiece, which is studded with 719 diamonds.
He was also seen wearing it on aInstagram post from a charity bash at the Grosvenor House Hotel the night before.
It raised fears the crooks may have targeted Khan specifically.
