Priory School, an independent school for children aged six months to eighteen years old, have enjoyed a positive start to 2020 after being graded ‘Outstanding’ in all areas in their latest Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Ofsted inspection. The inspection report commends Priory School’s team of highly qualified and experienced staff: ‘staff build close, trusting relationships with children. Their commitment to providing outstanding care and learning for all children is infectious’ praising the ways in which ‘children flourish in this exceptional nursery’ (Ofsted, 2019). Inspectors were particularly impressed with the ‘exceptional progress’ made by children, noting that their ‘kindness towards one another is impeccable’ (Ofsted, 2019).
Startwell, a Birmingham Public Health organisation which promotes a healthier environment for children and families, have applauded Priory School for being the first school in Birmingham to have met the advanced criteria. Headmaster Jonathan Cramb says: ‘it is wonderful that our efforts have been recognised. Our Nursery Manager and Early Years team work tirelessly to provide the best possible learning experience for all children.’
