Thousands of students across the UK will be nervously waiting for one of the most life-changing days on Thursday 15 August.
A-Level Results Day will see students who have continued into Further Education at Colleges and Sixth Forms get their results back from all the various exam boards.
A-Levels are a vital component and many students will be waiting to see if they get onto their desired courses at their ideal University institutions around the country.
A-Level results will be made available on August 15, 2019, at 6am GMT.
Different schools and colleges will open at different times, so please check with your institution what time you can go in to pick up your results.
Additionally, the UCAS Track website opens at 8am GMT to reveal whether University and other Higher Education applicants have been successful in getting on to their chosen course.
If your offer for a university place is conditional on the A Level grades you receive, you will need to check your grades are high enough for the university to confirm your place.
UCAS recommends you have your Track sign in detail to hand on results day and update your contact details if you need to.
If you miss out on the grades for your first choice, several opportunities may be open to you.
You may get a place on your insurance choice university course instead.
The institution might offer you an alternative option, a ‘changed course offer’, which would still allow you a place at the university – with some changes to your original plan.
You may not get a place on any of your preferred university courses.
In this case, UCAS’ clearing service may be an option for you.
Good Luck!
