Police officers shut down the area near Pershore Road after three teenagers were injured in an attack in Edgbaston.
One of three treated for injuries following the incident which took place at around 09:30pm Thursday evening was a 16-year-old.
West Midlands Police have launched an investigation into the disturbance and are appealing to the community for witnesses to come forward.
“We were called to reports that three teenagers were assaulted in Pershore Road, Edgbaston, at just before 9.30pm last night (Thursday 17 August),” said a spokesperson for the Police Force.
“A 16 year-old boy has been taken to hospital with a non-life threatening stab wound and the two others suffered minor injuries.”
He added, “An investigation is under way and anyone with information can call Force CID on 101 extension 822 3060 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
