Toy lovers and kids alike, rejoice! Birmingham is getting not one, but two, of the world’s greatest toy store: Hamley’s.

The toy seller super giant first left Birmingham thirty years when it closed shop, leaving Brummies having to travel all the way down to London in order to get their hands on their favourite fluffies.

The two Brum stories are to be opened in Resorts World (opening on the 21st October) and also on the fifth floor of luxury department store House of Fraser (opening 19th October).

Matthew Brown, sales manager for the House of Fraser, said:

“We’re very excited to have Hamley’s back in House of Fraser again,” says Matthew Brown, sales manager on the fifth floor of House of Fraser Birmingham.

“The shop fitting is being done right now so we don’t know too much about the details.

“But there’s certainly lots of excitement in store surrounding this.”
