This November will see world class act Coldplay hit the Global Citizen stage in Mumbai, and whilst all of India was buzzing for the event, it has now been reported that a whole array of A-listers will be joining the rock band on stage to perform as well.
At a launch event held at Taj Lands End, chairman Shiv Khemka revealed the full star-studded line up.
It includes American hip hop artist Jay-Z, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Dia Mirza, Farhan Akhtar, Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. As well as musicians and actors, the renowned composers AR Rahman and Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will also be in attendance as will singers Arijit Singh and actress/singer Monali Thakur.
Bringing in artist at the top of their game from all over the world, it looks to be a roaring night worth remembering. However, the concerts are not solely for entertainment. Global Citizen is first and foremost a charity which will be raising awareness for education, sanitation and water, and gender equality, hot topics among the Indian public.
