The Dubai government confirmed that a jet crash landed at the airport flying from India. The three hour plan was flying from Thiruvananthapuram in India at 7am UK time, the captain then sent out an emergency signal before the plane landed as a fire had broke out.
No injuries have been announced as of yet and all passengers have been evacuated.
NBC News Digital chief technology officer Krishna Bhagavathula stated, “By the time the fire engines got there the entire top half of the plane was on fire.” He also live tweeted the event being there at the time.
The airport have not released an official statement as of yet.
