Highfield Hall organised a Community Iftaar in partnership with near neighbours, Amiera Foundation and TOC-H welcoming the Syrian Refugees into the community.
As it is their first Ramadhan in their new homes without their families and love ones.
We felt so pleased to see members of all different faiths and cultures united together in Highfield Hall with the aspirations to become one and learn more about each other.
Bishop David Urquhart, Martin Stephenson, Hafiz Mohammed Ishaq from Ar-Rehma Foundation, Cllr Lisa Trickett, Cllr Barry Bowles, Cllr Kerry Jenkins, Cllr Waseem Zaffar, Cllr Majid Mahmood, Cllr Habib Rehman, were among many community and business leaders who were “Reflecting the true spirit of our Great City.”
