Hundreds of people attended Birmingham Central Mosque for special prayers in honour of Muhammed Ali.
A special tribute took place, with short messages by community leaders and other dignitaries, in loving memory of the world boxing legend, Muhammed Ali.
Ali died Friday 3rd June, aged 74, and his funeral took place in his home city of Louisville, Kentucky on Friday 10th June.
A spokesperson for Birmingham Central Mosque said: “He is a legend for Muslims, and a legend of people from all faiths from all over the world.”
The special prayers took place at 2pm – an hour after his funeral commenced.
