Dr Bhai Mohinder Singh, chairman of the Birmingham-based Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha and a trustee of the World Conference of Religions for Peace is a person who is committed to work for peace among people of all faiths and world religions.
He has recently been awarded a plaque by a Roman Catholic church in acknowledgement for his exceptional efforts, in particular for strengthening Roman Catholic and Sikh relations.
A rare moment took place in the Birmingham church as the Kirtan was done to highlight that the world needs co-existence of all religions.
The ceremony, held at Saint Chad’s Cathedral in Birmingham, was led by The Most Reverend Bernard Longley, Archbishop of Birmingham.
Bhai Sahib has been renowned as an ‘Interfaith Visionary’, holding the Juliet Hollister Award from the Temple of Understanding.
