Camran Khan, Director of Technology for Innovation Birmingham Campus-based digital lettings and property management provider, brightLET, has been shortlisted for this year’s international Talent Unleashed awards.
A cloud based lettings and property management platform that connects landlords directly with tenants, brightLET provides a 360 degree service which enables users to advertise, find a property, communicate and manage tenancies online without using a third party.
The Talent Unleashed awards recognise and reward game-changing, ground-breaking technology entrepreneurs and businesses from around the world across five categories: Best start-up for social impact, Best start-up for tech innovation, Best SME for tech innovation, Most Disruptive CIO/CTO and Best Tech IPO/Venture Capital Raising.
Mr Khan was shortlisted for this year’s Most Disruptive CIO/CTO category, having reached the final 10 businesses nominated for the 2015 awards. The five grand prize category winners receive a trip to Silicon Valley in USA, where they will attend a cutting edge technology conference and a bespoke tour of some of the region’s leading tech companies.

brightLET are one of 12 start-ups recently accepted onto Innovation Birmingham Campus’ Serendip Smart City Incubator, a new offering aimed at accelerating the growth of digital start-ups by co-locating them with large corporates.
Based at the Campus’ new 42,149 sq ft iCentrum building, start-ups can sign up to one of four sector-specific ‘quarters’; Digital Health, Intelligent Mobility, Internet of Things and Barclays Eagle Labs, which are being delivered by Innovation Birmingham in collaboration with the West Midlands Academic Health Science Network, Centro, the Transport Systems Catapult, RWE npower and Barclays. Applications for the second cohort of start-ups are now open.
