The 26-year-old had an overwhelming experience at the 2016 Cannes Film Festival when many people booed, loudly in the audience when the very first airing of her new film finished.
In the film, Kristen plays the role of an assistant who can speak with the dead. Many critics have come to the film’s defence.
However director, Olivier Assayas believes that the audience were hesitant about the film’s gloomy ending. He said: “It happens every once and a while where people just don’t get the ending.”
