CCTV Footage Shows Three men rob Self Service Machines from Asda



A trio of masked men raided self service tills in a Birmingham supermarket and escaped with £13,000 in cash early in the morning.


The incident occurred in the Asda store on Coventry Road, Small Heath in January, the men emptied four cash tills before fleeing the scene. They escaped in a dark coloured car which turned right out of the car park towards the Swan Pub.


Police released a CCTV image of one of the supposed men unmasked. PC Chris Hammond, from the West Midlands Police local investigation team, said, “Enquiries are ongoing to trace the three men responsible who are described as wearing dark clothing and balaclavas.


“Two were also wearing high-vis vests. Fortunately no-one was injured.”
