Body Found in Murder Investigation
Detectives investigating the disappearance of missing woman Sameena Imam have found a body.
Searches have been conducted this week on an allotment site off Groby Road, Leicester a body has been found.
The body will be formally identified in due course and as a post mortem will be conducted to establish the cause of death.
Sameena , aged 34, was last seen in Coventry on Christmas Eve. Her family have been informed of this development.
Two men, charged with her murder, appeared via videolink at Birmingham Crown Court on Tuesday 13 January and have been remanded in custody with a provisional trial date set for the end of June.
Roger Cooper, 40, of Tile Hurst Drive, Coventry, and David Cooper, 38, of Hughenden Drive, Leicester, were arrested at their home addresses on 7 January 2015.
