Pakistan took on Australia in the second Test of a three-match series
Pakistan took a 1-0 lead in the three-match series after Australia failed to counter with the Pakistan spin attack. Younis Khan earned the record of the most Test centuries by a Pakistan batsman when he scored two tons during the match beating Inzamam-ul-Haq’s tally of 25 Test centuries.
In the process, Younis Khan also registered the 75th instance of scoring two tons in a single Test match.
After the triumph of the Test, Pakistan overtook India in the ICC Test Rankings and moved to number five in the tables. In the second Test match, Pakistan won the toss and elected to bat.
They have entered the Test match with an unchanged position. Meanwhile Australia have replaced Steve O’Keefe with Mitchell Starc, accelerating their attack plan.
