Did you know 94% of Britain won’t help an Asian person with cancer it’s not because they don’t want to. They simply can’t. Why? Because for an Asian person with blood cancer, a bone marrow transplant from an Asian donor is often their only chance to survive. Currently White Northern Europeans have a 90% chance of finding a bone marrow donor. This falls to just 40% for people from Black, Asian, and Ethnic Minority backgrounds.
