Muid Khan named one of the top Legal professionals in the country
A BANGLADESHI Barrister has been named one of the top Legal professionals in the country.
Muid Khan was named one of the top seven Legal Executives of the Year at the Law Society’s Excellence Awards 2011 held in London.
And in doing so Mr Khan, became the first British Bangladeshi to receive the prestigious honour.
The Law Society’s prestigious Excellence Awards 2011 recognise the most outstanding legal practitioners in their field and their outstanding achievements.
Over 600 top legal professionals of England & Wales joined the President of the Law Society John Wotton and BBC Broadcaster Mishal Hussain at a presentation ceremony at Old Billingsgate.
As well as the accolade, Mr Khan also won a pair of hospitality tickets from the Etihad Airways, co-sponsor of the presentation ceremony.
Speaking about the honour, Mr Khan said: “Law Society’s Excellence Awards are the leading awards for the profession in the legal calendar. Winning a Law Society Excellence Award is a huge achievement.”
Mr Khan also features in the ‘British-Bangladeshi Who’s Who 2011’ who describe him as one of the ‘most successful and recognised figures in the British Bangladeshi community’.
