Police in fresh appeal to trace Bradford businessman missing since 2007

A BRADFORD businessman who disappeared on Valentines Day three years ago is the subject of a fresh police appeal.

Detectives have been mystified over the disappearance of Sajid Saddique in 2007.

The Bradford businessman was last seen in the car park of the Asda supermarket on Manor Road, Shilpey, Bradford on Valentines Day.

That morning he left his family home and was believed to have been on his way to the bank before heading to a business meeting.

His gold-coloured Volkswagen Bora was found in the Asda car park later that day and he has not been in contact with his family or friends since his disappearance.

Officers have continued enquiries to find Mr Saddique over the past 12 months including lines indicating he may have left the country.

Detective Superintendent Andy Brennan who has been leading the investigation, said: “It is now three years since Sajid went missing and the enquiry to find him remains active.

“Officers continue to maintain contact with his family to keep them updated about how the investigation is going.

“We would again appeal to anyone who has seen Sajid since his disappearance or who does have information to come forward.”

Mr Saddique is described as an Asian man, five-foot eight inches tall and of medium build. He was last seen wearing a white top, blue jeans and black Hugo Boss shoes or trainers.
