Detectives arrest Southall man in Geeta Aulakh murder investigation
DETECTIVES investigating the murder of a London mother Geeta Aulakh have made a further arrest at an address in Southall.
Mrs Aulakh, 28, a community radio receptionist, was attacked on her way to pick up her sons, aged eight and 10, from a child minder in Greenford last month.
She died of severe head injuries and her right hand was severed as she tried to defend herself.
A 21-year-old man arrested in Southall this morning is the 14th arrest in connection with Mrs Aulakh’s murder.
He is currently in custody at a west London police station.
Of the fourteen arrests, 12 have been bailed to return in mid January.
Two men – Mrs Aulakh’s estranged husband, Harpreet Singh Aulakh, 31, and Sher Singh, 18 – have already been charged with her murder.
They will appear ay the Old Bailey on 1 March 2010.
