Dilbag Singh to appear in court

POLICE have today charged a 26-year-old man with attempting to pervert the course of justice following the trial of a man convicted of attempted murder.

Dilbag Singh, 26, of St Pauls Road, Preston, was arrested by officers from Lancashire’s Major Investigation Team in Preston today. He was charged with attempting to pervert the course of justice and was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Magistrates’ Court tomorrow morning.

Parvez was given an indeterminate sentence but ordered to serve at least 10 years in prison before being eligible for parole.
