Lancashire duo on murder charge
A MAN and a woman have been charged with the murder of a 21-year-old who was attacked and killed in Pakistan.
Khurum Mukhtar died on Saturday 30 December 2006 after being found with serious injuries in a hotel in Rawalpindi, 35 miles south of Islamabad.
Yasira Pervez, 23, of Pendle Street, Accrington, and co-defendent Ian Priddle, 46, of Jubilee Road, Haslingden, are accused of 21-year-old Khurum Mukhtar’s murder.
The appeared at Manchester City Magistrates’ Court and were remanded into custody.
