ONE lucky British Asian could grab themselves a part in a top Indian soap opera – thanks to O2!

The mobile phone operator is giving someone a shot at international stardom with the chance to win a role in top Indian soap opera Pavitra Rishta.

The show is broadcast on Zee TV and is one of the channels most popular programmes with 500m viewers worldwide.

O2’s Indian Soap Star audition teams will be touring the UK – landing in Birmingham next week!

The competition coincides with the launch of O2’s International Favourites – a dedicated deal for people who regularly call abroad.

“International Favourites is a great deal for the UK’s Indian community who regularly call family and friends back in India,” said Ravi Lal, Head of Voice & Messaging Services at O2. “Indian Soap Star is a unique and innovative way of engaging with this community and bringing them a once in a lifetime opportunity.”

Following auditions, entrants will be narrowed down to a regional winner from each location, before the judging panel comprising representatives of O2 and Zee TV pick a final winner to be announced in early December on the competition’s Facebook page.

The winner and two friends will get a week of the full Bollywood treatment: return flights to Mumbai, a week’s accommodation in a luxury hotel, spending money – all this on top of filming for the show.
