Event ‘Bigger and Better than Ever’
Thousands of people flocked to Birmingham’s Cannon Hill Park to attend Big John’s Birmingham Mela – an event which has been hailed as extremely successful.
Organisers have said over 50,000 people attend the multicultural event which hosted food, stalls, music and fun-fair rides. Artists performing at the event included Shide Boss, Zack Knight, Roach Killa, Hunterz, Jay Kadn, Sophie Virdee, Imran Khan and Kan D Man. Celebrities at the event included local lad, Lord Aleem with BBC Radio presenters Noreen Khan and Tommy Sandhu hosting.
The Mela in its 15th year was bigger and better than ever with something for everyone to celebrate. The free annual event in Cannon Hill Park in the heart of Birmingham was truly an inclusive, open and diverse event, living up to its promise of being fun for the whole family.
