Funerals of victims Shazad Ali, Abdul Musavir and Haroon Jahan to be held today
A FOURTH man has been charged with the murders of Shazad Ali, Abdul Musavir and Haroon Jahan.
The three men were killed when they were hit by a car on Dudley Road, Winson Green in the early hours of Wednesday 10 August.
Ian Beckford, 30, from Quinton, appeared at Birmingham Magistrates Court this morning.
Three men – Adam King, 23, from Kings Norton, Birmingham, Joshua Donald, from Kelsall Croft, Ladywood, and a teenager, 17, who cannot be named from legal reasons have already been charged with three counts of murder.
The funerals of the three men will take place later today in an open air prayer event at Summerfield Park in Dudley Road, Winson Green.
The prayer and speech service, which is open to the community, will take place before the families of the three men take part in a private burial service at Handsworth Cemetery.
