The Crowing of Mrs World Punjaban UK 2019 – We have The Judges
The Judges have been selected, each and every one more determined than the
other to ensure they deliver a fair and accurate decision to crown Mrs World
Punjaban UK 2019.
“We thought we had a really high calibre of contestants, but the Judges are of an
even higher quality and competence” said the very excited founder of Mrs
World Punjaban, the Managing Director of Channel Punjab Shann Punjab Di.
The initiative first started in Patiala Punjab and then went to Dubai last year.
The concept is to crown a finalist on the 29th September 2019. There are two
categories and sixteen contestants for Mrs World Punjaban UK 2019 Shann
Punjab Di
Each contestant will over the weeks complete several tasks, there is a two day
‘boot camp’ which will be both enjoyable and challenging, but will really test
the abilities of the ladies to the max.
The key criteria for the contestants are that they are married, they can be
divorced or widowed.
The Judges include Mrs Satinder Kaur Taunque OBE, Deputy Lord Lieutenant
a former teacher and an ardent member for humanity, another Judge also in
education is Dr Opinderjit Kaur Takhar, Senior Lecturer and Head of Religious
Studies at the University of Wolverhampton, and also a Fellow of the Higher
Education Academy.
There are two Judges from the Armed Forces, Captain Makhand Singh from the
Army and Balbir Singh Flora MBE, Station Commander for the Royal Airforce.
From the world of business is Jasbir Singh Whoura of East End Foods, a house
hold name in authentic foods and Jahagir Siddiq (Fondly known as Big John),
from Big John’s food chain which span the length and breadth of the midlands.
Anita Chamber is a partner and co-editor for the renowned newspaper Asian
Today, Anita started in sales and quickly accomplished success, she is the Judge
with the media hat.
One of the main mentors for the ladies is fashion icon Rav from Shimmers Boutique, she will actively be involved with ensuring the ladies with latest fashion tips, along with creating confidence
Another mentor Aman shoker from panj giddha group who will be teaching the ladies all the moves they will need for this competition
Sarika is another mentor and Judge who specialises in singing Punjabi songs and who is proving to be hit across all ages groups, Sarika will; be grooming these ladies for the finals and to bring the best out of each contestants.
“I feel both humbled and honoured that we have such an esteemed panel of
Judges, but I do not envy their role, but am totally confident in their abilities,
they are all high achiever’s in their professions and well known and respected in
the community” said Jasvir Singh Dherewal.
Currently there is only one Ambassador, it is Mrs Raj Dhaliwal. An actress who
has risen in the Punjabi film industry in a very short space of time.
Mrs Dhaliwal has been selected due to her passion for equality and diversity,
she will be instrumental in guiding women for all walks of life.
All these activities will be culminated into a reality show, which will be aired
on Channel Punjab Shaan Punjabi Di in the coming months.
There are two categories and each category will have a winner who will be
crowned Mrs World Punjaban UK 2019 at a presidious venue in the midlands
on the 29th September 2019.
