Three raiders stormed into a Ward End sari shop before making off with cash,
CCTV footage shows the moment a shop owner tried to push a masked robber from his shop after a cashier was threatened with a knife.
The three crooks enter the shop and help themselves to large amount of cash from the till.
Shopkeeper at Sana Collections, which is located on Washwood Heath Road, paces over and pushes a robber who was keeping watch in the doorway.
As their fellow crook is pushed outside of the shop, the two remaining robbers make a run for the exit and the trouble spills outside.
West Midlands Police asked: “Can you help us catch them?
“Some of the suspects were wearing face coverings at the time of the robbery – but we’re hopeful someone might recognise them as they were wearing distinctive clothing.
Investigating officer PC Stephen Tighe, said: “Someone in the area will know who this is. They’re wearing distinctive clothing and are likely live in the local area themselves. I would urge anyone with information to contact me on 101.”
