The South and City College InBusiness Network continues to create opportunities for the businesses and organisations within its membership and crucially opens many doors for South and City College students helping to shape the future workforce of the region.
Companies from all sectors of industry meet at the various Networking events organised by the College InBusiness Team and from the many conversations at those B2B functions student projects are borne.
Working together with our business partners delivers at all levels in many different ways.
Our Music students have played at Awards Dinner receptions for the Birmingham Post, Media students have provided technical support for high profile functions for the IAB at major venues, Motor Vehicle students have worked on cars provided by Toyota, Fashion students have designed hats for major tennis tournaments at the Priory, which included ‘dressing the Bull’ in the Bull Ring, Photography students have attended design shows in London for MG and the list goes on and on…..
Not only does the College InBusiness Network create work experience opportunities for young people, it offers ‘real life’ projects that will help sharpen the skillsets of students – setting them up for their future careers.
